Hi Barbara - I am happy to meet a fellow knitter - your scarf is a beautiful merging of colors and texture. I have been also looking at your beautiful butterfly project - I am actually mesmerized by how intricate the quilting is - this is going to truly be a lovely creation.

I am honestly NOT just flying through all the blogs - I really do want to meet and make new friends. That we share a kinship with yarns and fibers is delightful.

I wish you well in this blog hoping event~~

That's a beautiful scarf!
You are inspiring me, I have been wanting to start a new knitting project for ages.... must get to the yarn shop and get myself started.
And I am intriqued with your machine stitched butterfly, I have a Singer that I bought back in 1966, still going strong, but I'm not sure if it would be able to do that freestyle stitching. When all else fails, look in the instruction book, I guess!

Hi Barbara,

I'm in TO, nice to meet you.

I like your art quilt and use of water colours. Fiber art fascinates me, I am making dolls at the moment, but when I combed through the yarn to create their wigs I found myself saving all the soft yarn fibers left behind in the tools. A future mixed media project perhaps?

Nice photos of the many moons.

Did you create the fiber art shown in you blog banner, it is lovely.

all the best, Dena
