Another small weekend piece, taking a little break from the larger bits but still working on them non-the-less. I enjoyed the stray red threads and bit of wool that almost turned themselves into a heart (or a juggler with very long arms).
This is water colour on muslin woven strips, wool, threads and ribbon trapped beneath a layer of sheer (also water coloured) and then all stitched by hand.

The layering is really effective here, as is framing the piece with ribbon. Lovely!
I just love how you "paint" with threads and other fibers!
gorgeous!
This piece reminds me of medieval embroidery. Love the background.
Thank you all for your wonderful comments ... it is so great to hear from you!

Hi Barbara,
Thank you so much for your kind comment.
I like how you colour your cloth before stitching, beautiful.x
it is so delightful to enjoy your varied artful pieces, this one is a joy.
Oh my, this is incredible! I love the watercolor look to the background very much. And your stitching is wonderful. Are there beads on there, or French knots? Just wonderful!
So creative once again! Love it :)
