Well, you may look at the photos of my piece in progress and wonder how we came up with Rebecca?
This whole project with all of us has come about after a Call For Entry of tall tales and history of the Burlington Arts Centre ~ so Rebecca is a sculpture ... which looks nothing like a woman ~ but does have many lights and shadows, and also much negative space to work with.
As a group we decided to “move” Rebecca to a place where light and shadow is even more prevalent … this has not been without its challenges but I am sure the piece will come together to show Rebecca in her best light!
We all have strips of the finished composition which are about 6 or 7 inches wide but about 55” high. They will all hang side by side to form the larger composition.
