hi and hope this finds everyone well ... been offline for a bit!
first, I wanted to pass along an update on my butterfly project ~ it did not get juried in but that is perfectly fine, as I know you just never know what the jurors are looking for ...
this is a newly started piece called "unravelled", it is inspired by Ravel's Bolero and his struggles at the end of his life. it is only just pinned yet but will have stitching started very soon.

Judges choose things for so many reasons it would be impossible to know what to enter into shows. Your work is beautiful, it is professional and that's all anyone can do. I apprecite what you are doing.

I look forward to seeing how your new piece evolves. I've always been fascinated with the process of someone's work rather than just seeing the end's like following a story....

This is the first time I've seen you tackle anything that is so PINK! I'll be following your progress with this project!

this is so alive and spring like. are the stitches done on the machine or by hand.

thank you for letting us know about your submission. we really never do know why things are chosen. it is simply wonderful that you wanted to try and you did.
