this bunny is in stitches

Good evening ... and I hope that a wonderful weekend is in store!

Apparently, this piece turned into a bunny somewhere along the way, it is watercolour on cotton muslin and some acrylic on sheers ~ with hand stitching.

It was only when a family member said ~ "it looks like a bunny", that it took on new life.

Black Locust

A little of track ~ I know ~ but for the few fleeting days that this tree blooms every year in our garden ~ I find it hard not to be entranced with the fragrance. It takes me a day to figure what smells so amazing and then every window is open and I sit on the step at night just to take it in.

in the garden ~ i waited patiently for this little guy to open. i love the anticipation of the springtime, checking to see what is happening, browsing the garden shops to fill my shopping bag with dreams and ideas ~ (and of course hoping that just the good bugs will come to visit this year)

i just took these pictures over the weekend ~ this is an old, old clump in our yard ~ the fragrance is filling the air ~ they are so delicate and i miss them when they are gone
