this is the second of this series, i was looking for the light and the swirls and the dark patches that i love about the painting. these squares are small but when finished and mounted together the finished piece will be about 20" w x 10" h.the muslin is painted and then a thin layer of roving is laid down to add texture, the stitch adds movement and direction.
